In the air, eye-to-eye,
in the act of observing one another
or in the how of concentration?
What is the frontier between
interior and exterior?

Peter Eötvös creates spheres of transition
in his composition, "Der Blick".
The audience will gain an awareness of these transitions
in a journey of the eye and the ear
through the link between image profection and
infinitesimally fine sound recordings.

The link between interior and exterior soundspace is tangible:
the audience is given headsets in addition
to the loudspeakers in the installation space.
Sounds are placed directly
"in middle of the listener's head",
travel outwardly and develop a
physically tangible
sound space.
